THE BLACKLOCK TROPHY - CHICKEN LEAGUE

Everyone is eligible to play. Played on Monday nights, the entry list is divided into an appropriate number of teams. Each team plays each other at least once during the season. Relative stand¬ing amongst the teams is based on the total accumulated points earned in each game.

Scoring is based on two points for winning the game (one point for each team in the case of a tie). In addition, teams will be given one point for each end won. If a team cannot play due to the default of its opponent, that team will be awarded the average of all winning scores posted for the evening. A system of rotation is established whereby each curler advances one position every game.

At the end of the regular season, the team with the most points is the winner of the Oborne "Old Rooster" Trophy. The committee will determine the play-off format, which determines the winner of the Blacklock Trophy, and outline it in a notice posted at the beginning of the regular season.
